The Community Activities Group (CAG) would like to thank everyone who contributed their energy and enthusiasm and braved the snow to make the 3rd annual Valentine Skate a success.

It is the beginning of a wonderful Old Ottawa East tradition.

Kudos to our amazing volunteers, cooks, chili chefs, bakers, fire minders, musicians and shovelers who made it such a great evening: Catherine Patterson, Catherine Pacella, Carol Workun, John Bennett, Kevin Hassell, Malcolm Wade, Bob McKendry, Andrew Crawford, Maureen Ward, Kim Armstrong, Nick Masciantonio, Christine Loth-Bown, Jenny Ong, Ron Farmer and The Green Door restaurant staff, Alexandra Peach, Alyssa Bissonnette, Marina and Jim Lamont, Nathalie Fletcher, Claire Fowles, Emi Pech and James Knopp, Claire Fowles, Liz and John, Rhonda Walker, Jim Fraser, Heather Jarrett, Margot Montgomery, Margaret Dunn and Gabrielle Pelletier.

Thank you also to Cindy Courtemanche and her dedicated rink volunteers, without whom none of the skating fun would have been possible. And to Mike Galazka for the very much appreciated guest appearance of his snow plow!
