OPS Missing person report: Hélène Merritt

The latest update on Twitter was as follows: Missing person Hélène Merritt last seen on Dec.2 @ 6:20 a.m. at intersection of Champlain and Elisabeth-Bruyere in Gatineau. Tips at 613-236-1222 x 2353.

Ottawa Police Services news release

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Police Service is requesting the assistance to locate Hélène Merritt, 55 years-old, of Ottawa, who was last seen in the afternoon of Nov. 30, 2013 at her residence.

Her rental vehicle was located near the Canadian Museum of Civilizations, in Gatineau, on Dec. 2.

She is described as (photo on the left):
– a white female
– measures approximately 5’5”
– weighs approximately 170 pounds
– has short grey hair
– brown eyes
– wears prescription glasses
– there is no available clothing description

Any information regarding this missing person can be forwarded to the Ottawa Police Service by contacting the Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2355 during business hours or the Central District Investigations at 613-236-1222, ext 5166 during the evening hours.
