Wondering how you could help refugees here in the community?

Carty House is a Sandy Hill charity dedicated to providing refugee women with a first home in Canada and other settlement services.

A fundraising buffet dinner featuring live music and a silent auction will take place at the Green Door Restaurant on Monday, Sept. 21. Tickets are $40 and include a $25 tax receipt. A limited number are still available through the restaurant.

If you miss this, there’s always Ride for Refuge on Oct. 3. Sign up to cycle or walk to raise money for 22 Ottawa charities dedicated to refugee issues. Or donate directly to our team — Carty Cares!
